Last month, I was very fortunate to qualify for the Fiji incentive trip. This was achieved by six months of active sharing dōTERRA that qualified me for this amazing trip. I had never been to Fiji so pretty much worked my little tushie off to qualify. I put my vision out to the universe, people came and wanted to join my on my dōTERRA journey. People who wanted to improve their health and wellbeing with our incredible gifts from Mother Nature.
So sure, it is amazing to get this trip, all expenses paid, staying at the Sheraton Hotel. It was amazing to spend time with my Rainbow Diamond uplines, Noel and John. It was incredible to be around 160 dōTERRA Wellness Advocates around the country, zip lining across the Fijian Highlands and watching fire twirlers on Robinson Crusoe Island.
However, the highlight of our trip was the service project for the children of the remote village of Vusama on the Tuva River, population 250. Many of you know dōTERRA as an essential oils company but for you know about the work they do to improve the quality of life for communities all over the world through the Healing Hands Foundation?
An important part of any dōTERRA incentive trip is a service project. Our project was one that will benefit children and families from this remote village. We donated stationery items and packed them in pencil cases with a note and a photo of ourselves.
We visited the village and watched the villagers dance for us – we then gifted the children their pencil cases. Their faces lit up with joy. dōTERRA also donated $2500 to the village to assist with transportation to get the kids to school. I was able to meet the little boy who received my pencil case and stationary items. He was shy but so lovely. I’m blessed and honored to be aligned with a company that has such a massive heart!
